Maryam Alborzfar, Ph.D., is a chemical engineer with over 10 years experience in water and wastewater treatment projects. Her experience includes treatability studies including membrane filtration, process design of physical and chemical treatment processes, water quality assessment, wastewater and effluent characterization, and discharge compliance studies. As a project manager at Environmental Engineering and Contracting, Inc., she provides environmental engineering consulting services for public and industrial clients. Dr. Alborzfar has several publications in the field of groundwater and wastewater treatment. She is a member of American Chemical Society, Water & Environment Federation, American Water Works Association and Orange County Water Association. She has been a board member since 2008.
